Nature Paintings
Trees have long been a source of inspiration, and in my work, they serve as the central element of landscapes that blend realism with subtle touches of fantasy. Each tree is treated as a unique character, with its own personality and presence, contributing to the overall story of the scene. Executed in oil, I aim to capture the textures, light, and atmosphere of forests while infusing each piece with imaginative nuances that enhance the narrative. In addition to creating these works, I also offer courses in oil painting, sharing techniques and insights to help others explore the magic of this medium. Every painting is crafted to draw viewers into a space where nature’s beauty is heightened by a sense of wonder, making it suitable for both private collections and commissioned projects.

Testimonials from former students of my nature painting class:
“It was an absolutely wonderful weekend and a truly excellent course. I came away feeling incredibly inspired and motivated to really get started with my own work. The environment was delightful, wild, and full of imagination—perfect for sparking creativity and translating that energy onto the canvas to create magic. Every aspect of the course, including the facilities and catering, was superb and thoroughly enjoyable. Your ability to teach is extraordinary—your calm, grounded approach and way of sharing knowledge is inspiring and contagious. Thank you so much for a fantastic weekend—I would be delighted to attend again!”

Recommendation – 5 out of 5 stars. A wonderful weekend at Rasmus’s painting course has come to an end.Everything is filled with presence and calm. The course began with a lovely, grounded meditation deep in the forest, surrounded by silence. Then came the teaching and practice—preparing us to start painting the subject that stood tall, proud, and intriguing among the trees. Time flew by in quiet focus and immersion.Rasmus was able to guide me, as a beginner, to understand and execute the techniques, and after two days in the forest, I returned home with the most beautiful painting that I had created myself. As a beginner, you also learn a lot about yourself—a wonderful bonus.I now feel inspired and eager to paint more subjects, and I have all the materials I need to continue. The weekend was enriched with plenty of delicious homemade treats and meals.Thank you for sharing your passion with us and for opening your beautiful space to us.
